Moderate rainfall is forecast to return to central and eastern Queensland. The highest daily totals of 20-40mm are expected about the coastal fringe between Mackay and the Sunshine Coast during Friday, then extending south to include Brisbane, the Gold Coast and north-east NSW on Saturday. Conditions for Queensland are not expected to be as heavy, prolonged or widespread as last week's rainfall, however given the sodden ground, moderate rainfall has the potential to cause flooding and landslips.
