Progressing the pancake splits can be as simple as lowering closer to the floor over time but we can also do this by elevating the legs. This does two things; 1. Makes it easier to navigate hip positioning which we want in an anterior pelvic tilt(low back arch) with strong external rotation and abduction(legs out) 2. It provides more space to use an anterior load which can give a better reference for compressing the torso and freeing the scapula. Don’t stop exploring! #splits #pancakesplit #stre
