This book nook was a commission for a friend's sister's birthday. she happens to be a playwright and the dramatic company she writes for is called The Wicked Quill. I instantly had images of a long abandoned Victorian study/library filled with oddities and half finished projects. the client loved that idea so I ran with it. which is good because I only had 2 weeks to design and craft the piece before her birthday. this is the first booknook I've made that can be opened so the client can add new
