North Wales is under a 24 hour yellow alert for rain as Storm Claudia strikes the UK. The alert started at 6am this morning and lasts until 6am on Saturday, covering Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd and other parts of Wales and England.

Flood alerts have been issued in Greater Manchester after a day of heavy rain and fierce gusty winds as Storm Claudia wreaks havoc across the country. The storm has been named by the Spanish meteorological service, but its impact will be felt across much of England and Wales today (November 14).
